My interpretation of "Moby Dick" during the 3-day long "The Visual Development and Stylization" workshop by Almu Redondo.
During the workshop, our goal was to develop a style frame by basing our designs on an existing story. In my case, I chose the story of Moby Dick and changed the setting to Japan. For this style frame, I wanted to explore things from Moby Dick's perspective. I aimed to bring out his elegance and fragility by focusing on his eye and emphasizing his harmony with nature using a softer shape language. On the other hand, I went for a shaper look with the fishing boats to make them seem like intruders in the scene.
